"Pick 3"

If you have not yet signed up with Wager Relay, you also must do that HERE.  $0 cost

Rules:

Pick 3 horses for each of the 3 Triple Crown Races (Kentucky Derby, Preakness, Belmont)

**CANNOT PICK SAME HORSE TWICE DURING CONTEST**

 

• Deadline is Saturday at Noon (Day of Race)

• “Relays” (messages) will be sent as reminder to send in picks

• Send picks thru email above.

 

Cost: $0

 

Scoring:

You receive points for where each horse finishes in the race. If they finish 11th, you get 11 pts for that horse. However,  if your horse WINS, you receive 0 pts. Lower the score, the better.  If the horse is a late scratch after you picked it, you get 2 points above the last place horse.  So if last place is 10th place, you get 12 pts for the scratched horse.

• Total Score is sum of all horse pts for each race and then running total for all 3 races

• Lowest total score wins.

 

Payouts: (minimum 10 participants)

1st place overall $250, 2nd place $100

Each race will also receive payouts to winners with the lowest points for that race - 1st place $50

 

Results:

All picks and standings will be posted on our website www.wagerrelay.com and the contest page. Relays will also be sent with periodic updates to your phone.
